This fabulous falling apart piano was created by production designer Adam Head. Sean and I only realised the morning of the shoot that a piano couldn’t fall into splinters on the floor – like in a cartoon. It had about ten tonnes of steel inside. We managed to work around it.

My mum likes this as she it reminds her of the broken, out of tune piano that I learnt on as a kid.
